Need of Allied Health Professionals in Country


        There's such time comes that the first person that the patients meet in any type of care is an allied health professional. As you could observe in documentaries presented in different television, it is more obvious that the issue discussed is about lack of allied health professionals especially in places not reach by modernization.  Insufficient number of allied health professionals also means lack of health care and support. Allied health professionals support diagnosis, recovery, and quality of well-being, they play a critical role and are the support pillars of the healthcare team.

        In some barrios and barangays, they're not  receiving the proper health assistance and as a result, unfortunately, their chance of survival decreases. Patients have complex needs, as a allied health professional, they are involved with the delivery of health or related services pertaining to the identification, evaluation and prevention of diseases and disorders, dietary, nutrition services, rehabilitation and health systems management, among others. Thus, the scope of allied health practice extends to the individual, the family, the community and to public education, many allied health professions specialize in the promotion of optimum function and health and also the improvement of health-related quality of life. The role of these professionals expands through years and by the time comes, we can conclude that they're essential in one's society to attain the economic progress that each one of us want to reach.

        There are literally thousands of jobs available in the allied health field, and the demand for theses jobs will continue to grow. Our need or dependency to them also increases as the health problem that our society reach to its limit.
